Oxford Geek Nights 9

7.30pm, 22 October 2008

Upstairs at the Jericho Tavern

Oxford Geek Nights offer a chance for web developers and designers in the local area to get together, share their skills and talk about new ideas, techniques and technologies.

Each OGN consists of two keynote talks of 15 minutes each. There are also frenetic bursts of socialising, sometimes adverts for other local groups, but always interspersed with two sets of 5-minute-long microslot sessions.

Microslots

These are five-minute "lightning" talks that anyone can do. Here are the confirmed microslots so far, for OGN9:

Submit a microslot for OGN10! They're easy to do: pick something that excites you, or a project you've worked on that you think might be of interest; then talk to a friendly audience for just five minutes with a handful of slides. Submit your microslot and we'll see you on the night!

Microslot ideas

Want something explained? Someone out there must know... maybe a microslot would help! Why not submit your idea for someone else's microslot?
